FINDING THE LAB
Once you pull in the parking lot, continue straight for about 150 yards past the first building, then park and you will see suite 209 on your left. If the door is locked, I’m currently not in the office. If we are scheduled, you simply beat me there and I’ll be right over. Please text if you arrive and find a locked door.
PLEASE READ PRIOR TO APPOINTMENT
Please provide at least 48 hour notice of cancellation. You may be charged if cancellation occurs inside of the 48 hours window. Any additional costs will be due on the day of the fit.
BIKE FIT INFO ::: PLEASE READ CAREFULLY
1) Do not apply lotion prior to the fit. I will be attaching markers and they will need to stick to your skin during the fit.
2) Bring a clean bike, cycling shoes, and cycling shorts/top. Clothing needs to be tight in order to view angles and positioning.
3) Please remove all gear bags, lights and bike computers.
4) Please be sure your bike is in perfect working condition and you have adequate seat post length available for fit options. Also be sure you can freely move the seat post and confirm it’s not frozen in the frame due to corrosion. The stem and cockpit hardware need to be properly functioning and adjustable.
5) All cleats and parts used in the fit need to be installed prior to the fit. I can move and adjust cleats and bike related parts, but they first need to be installed before entering the fit studio. If your bike doesn’t meet the conditions above you are still responsible for the full cost of the fit. You may need to reschedule and extra charges may accrue. If cleats/pedals need to be installed there may be an additional $30 charge.
6) You are allowed 1 pair of shoes/cleats to be evaluated and adjusted per fit.
7) Saddle discomfort isn’t always associated with fit or fixed from dialing in your position. Sometimes it takes trying a few saddles to find the right one. I will measure your sitbones and be sure you’re on the right size saddle and if not, provide in-house alternatives as an additional purchase or offer suggestions for you to purchase after the fit. Continued saddle discomfort, especially on genital soft tissue, is not always fit related and doesn’t have a guarantee of pain resolution.
8) Numbness and pain can and will be addressed but be aware that many times is unrelated to your bike fit. Nerve impingement and muscular issues can cause numbness, pain and tingling which will need to be addressed outside of the fit process. We will help you choose the best course after our evaluation. My bike fit is guaranteed to put you in an ideal position but for reasons stated above, a full resolution of pain and/or numbness cannot be guaranteed.
9) You won’t really know how things feel until you get out and ride. That’s why I give you 3 weeks to check out your new position and get back to me with feedback. Text or call to communicate. Please note you have 3 weeks to provide feedback and make adjustments if needed.
